  • Ÿ2 tsp. of apple cider vinegar

  • Ÿ1 cup of warm water

  • Add 2 tsp. of vinegar to 1 cup of water and mix well.

  • ŸTake a few sips of this mixed apple cider vinegar for sore throat 3 times a day to help soothe the sore throat and ease the pain.


Method 5: Apple Cider Vinegar Tea

  • 1 tsp.of apple cider vinegar

  • Ÿ1 cup of hot water

  • ŸTake out the teabag after a few minutes and add 1 tsp. of apple cider vinegar and honey. Mix everything well.

Method 6: Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey, Cayenne Pepper and Ginger
Another effective remedy is adding ginger, honey and cayenne pepper. Ginger is also an antioxidant and has strong analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.


Ingredients:



  • 2 tbsp. ofapple cider vinegar

  • Ÿ2 tbsp. ofhoney

  • ½ tsp. ofginger paste

  • ½ tsp. of cayenne pepper

  • Ÿ2 tbsp. ofwater


Instructions:



  • In a glass jar, add 2 tbsp. each of honey, apple cider vinegar and water.

  • Add ½ tsp. each of ginger paste and cayenne pepper and mix well.

  • Store this mixture in the refrigerator and consume as needed to soothe a sore throat.


Precautions

  • ŸAlways remember to rinse your mouth after taking any of the home made apple cider vinegar solutions. Apple cider vinegar for sore throat is potent and the residue in your mouth can damage the enamel of your teeth. You can try to dilute apple cider vinegar to decrease the damage.

  • You should swallow the apple cider vinegar solution only in cases where it is explicitly mentioned to do so. Otherwise you should spit out the solution every time. For best effects, go for raw, organic, unpasteurized and unfiltered apple cider vinegar.

  • Do not overdose in case of any of the apple cider vinegar remedies. Excessive consumption can become harmful as it can lead to lower potassium levels and bone mineral density.
