1. Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

This recipe for a strawberry breakfast smoothie drink will make two servings.


Ingredients:



  • 14-15 frozen strawberries

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • 1 cup soy milk

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1-1/2 Tablespoons sugar (decrease for fewer calories)

  • 1 banana (if desired)


Instructions: Blend all ingredients in a blender and pour into two chilled glasses.


Nutritional Facts: Each glass of this refreshing breakfast drink contains about 236 calories and 5.9 grams of fiber. Leave out the banana to decrease the number of calories. The recipe includes 44.9 grams of carbohydrates and 3.7 grams of fat.
